Although Bison once roamed the North American plains from North Mexico to Alaska, they now occupy just a fraction of their original range. These grassland grazers are the largest mammals in north America, measuring up to 10 feet long and weighing around a ton.

Overhunting in the 1800s led to Bison being endangered, their numbers dropping from tens of millions into the hundreds. However, intense conservation efforts have brought them back from the brink, and there are now over 20,000 wild Bison in North America, with at least five herds numbering over 1000 animals.

These tiny replicas of the one-ton Bison catch their grandeur in the palm of your hand. Use them in a western or grasslands diorama or school project, or create artwork or charms using the figures.
